History of Silver State Materials Silver State was founded in 1987, here in Las Vegas. During 1988 the company provided concrete to the Mirage and the Device Assembly Facility at the Nevada Test Site from on-site plants. In October of 1988, the concrete division of Stocks Mill and Supply was purchased and Silver State Materials Corp. started providing concrete to the entire Las Vegas market. Steady growth in this market, put Silver State in a position of running 4 plants and 100 trucks by 2005. In 2006, the Audax Group purchased the majority holding in Silver State Materials Corp. and formed Silver State Materials LLC. During this same year, Silver State purchased All Star Transit Mix, a ready mix provider in the Las Vegas market. In Feburary 2007, Silver State acquired Casino Ready Mix to continue strengthening its foothold in Las Vegas by adding 30 trucks and 4 plants. We now have over 272 trucks and 8 plants running daily throughout the Las Vegas valley.
Recent Projects Silver State Materials provides concrete for jobs of every size. Some of the more prolific projects in Las Vegas that we have been a part of recently include the Poly-West plant on Conestoga and Wagonwheel in Henderson, Newport Lofts LV in Downtown Las Vegas and the Soho Lofts in the Arts District of Downtown Las Vegas. Along with these, Silver State has poured thousands of residential foundations, commercial slabs, parking garages and tilt-up structures throughout the valley. Silver State also provides specialty concrete for curbs and gutters, pools, and architectural concrete projects.
What we do Silver State Materials LLC produces and sells Ready-Mixed concrete and sand and gravel products in the Southern Nevada market. We operate eight ready-mix plants in the Las Vegas area and service the market with 272 trucks. Our sand & gravel facilities consist of one plant; that is located on Hwy 95 near Boulder City (Construx). We provide an excellent product at a competitive price and have the resources to provide great service for projects of any size.
